Enid Norris, M.S., LMFT
I am a Connecticut-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. My practice is based on providing compassionate care in a reliable environment where individuals, couples and families can safely address personal and relational issues.
I provide psychodynamic (interactive), cognitive (modifying negative thinking), and behavioral (changing things that don’t work very well any more) therapy to help clients move toward a balance between the emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual aspects of their lives.
I specialize in compassionate healing of wounds, whether manifest in addiction, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, marital difficulties, or parenting issues that are sources of individual or relational distress. My goal is to help clients develop positive coping skills, self respect, confidence in their abilities, and emotional serenity.
